OUR PHILOSOPHY

The Message Comes First
Then the Camera

Production goes further than delivery. We start with what your audience needs to understand, believe, or decide after watching. That single objective shapes every creative choice from the first script draft to the final cut. The work that comes back is built around your goal and designed to land it.

HOW IT WORKS

Predictable Results

01

Creative Direction

We start with the message and what you need the viewer to do. Every creative decision follows that outcome. The camera comes second.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Dustin Hill Productions do?

We shape brand stories into film. Corporate video, animation, 3D, music videos, social content, and live streaming for brands building something worth watching in Singapore and across the region. Our work spans MNC campaigns, brand films, and creative partnerships with agencies. Whatever the brief calls for, we have the team and the craft to make it real.

Where are you based, and who do you work with?

Singapore-based, regional in scope. We work with marketing and communications leaders at multinational corporations, regional creative agencies, and growth-stage brands launching across Southeast Asia. We work in English, with crews available in Mandarin and Bahasa wherever a project calls for it. Wherever you operate, we plan production around what your audience needs to see.

How does the project process work?

Every project starts with a conversation about your goal. We then propose a treatment that maps how to get there. The most distinctive part of our process is the storyboard. We draw every single panel before we film. By the time we step on set, you have already seen the entire video as illustration. Every shot, every transition, every moment. That gives you certainty before production, room to refine direction, and confidence on shoot day. It is the difference between hoping and knowing.

What is the typical budget range for a project?

Budget is a starting point, not a limit. Most corporate video projects fall between SGD 8,000 and SGD 50,000, but the real question is what your campaign needs to achieve. We shape the production around that. When budget is tight, we offer creative alternatives. That might mean using your in-house talent, focusing scope on the moments that carry the story, or working with existing locations. When budget is open, we extend into the craft that lifts the work. Different briefs, different sizes, same standard of care.

How long does a project usually take from brief to delivery?

Timeline matches ambition. A fully developed corporate video runs two to eight weeks. That includes conceptualisation, the storyboard where we draw every panel, the planning around talent and location, and the shoot itself. Animation and 3D projects extend further. When the launch window calls for speed, we adjust. We focus on what is essential and move directly to production with you. We design the timeline at the proposal stage so it fits both your launch and your standards.

Do you work with brands outside Singapore?

Yes. Some of our most ambitious work is produced in Singapore for distribution across Southeast Asia. We have shot in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia. When the production goes overseas, we either travel with our core team or work with trusted local crews we have vetted. Wherever the brief takes us, the standard goes with us.

Can you handle both creative direction and production?

Yes. That is who we are. We are a creative studio first and a production company second. Most projects come to us with a goal and a rough idea, not a finished script. We treat the creative direction as part of the brief. If you already have an agency on the creative side, we slot in as the production partner who makes the work land.

What industries do you have the most experience in?

Financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and B2B technology. Each industry has its own conventions, audience, and visual vocabulary. We start every brief with a context check so we are not relearning the basics. The result is film that respects the industry while still feeling fresh.
